IP Masterclass

In the last few years, since I’ve been involved with helping people understand intellectual property, I’ve come across so many misconceptions, misunderstandings and mix ups that people have, such as ‘Can I patent my trademark?’ or ‘Can I copyright my patent?’ Or others that look at me blankly, and when I ask them do they know what IP is and they shrug their shoulders, they sheepishly admit ‘No!’

There are other people that seem come across very confidently, like they know exactly what they’re talking about, but sometimes what they’re sharing is complete nonsense.

One of the things I want to do is to help people to understand what appears to be a very complicated and mixed up subject from the outside, with lots of jargon and misunderstandings and empower them to use this knowledge with confidence. 

When I first started looking into helping people understand intellectual property, I thought the same – this subject is a complete monster! 

But I’ve worked hard to simplify this subject into something that can be understood and actioned.

I will be running an IP masterclass where I will break down the subject of intellectual property, explain about its different parts and what type is used when; we will look at case studies, where IP has been key to what has happened and give you practical simple steps you can take today to protect your IP.
