I had an amazing time networking and co-working online this week with 4 fabulous ladies at Inspire.
In the meetings we could just be honest about our challenges in business and not pretend.
So often we can put stuff out on social media that isn’t the full picture and it is so easy to look at what others are posting and think we are not doing as well. When we talk to others, we find out we can all be in the same boat, all feeling the same way and no-one has a smooth ride all the time.
I love these posts that share the reality of what we face as people in business. If you are anything like me, I have actually ticked every one of these boxes in my journey. The key is not quitting when we are tempted to.

As the great Thomas Edison said: ‘Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.’
Or like me when work goes out the window for a week when my computer has a melt down. Then I have a very helpful and calm techie expert who walks me through how to get things back on track. I was not calm, for sure. Business life is not without challenges especially when you take the unknown terrain of running a business!
We can cut ourselves some slack when we realise we aren’t the only one that has challenges!
The key is ‘Don’t Quit’ and to have a reality check about what is really ‘real’ in the world of social media 🙂
